Loot in The Loft is simply an online facility to help Sellers and Buyers get together.
To help protect our buying and selling members from potential fraudulent activities, there are a few simple precautions both Buyers and Sellers should take.
Buyers need to Avoid:
In all cases, go and view the item and pay in person.
Sellers need to Avoid:
It is Loot in The Loft policy to allow only certain, specific types of links within any listing in order to promote equality for all our members.
We will only allow the following types of links, none of which may be a picture or a logo.
NOTE: If you continue to breach this policy after fair warnings, all of your current listings will be removed from sale with no refund of listing fees given.
Once you have successfully listed your item and paid your insertion fee, you item will be listed until either you inform us it's been sold, or on the first anniversary of the insertion date, whichever is the sooner.
All items advertised on Loot in The Loft must be placed within the category most relevant to it.
i.e. A Guitar must be placed within Musical Instruments and NOT Music, etc
The reason we have this policy is to give all our members a fair chance to sell their items and to prevent confusion and frustration for buyers as they try to find what they're looking for.
NOTE: If you continue to breach this policy after fair warnings, all of your current listings will be removed from sale and your account cancelled with no refund of listing fees given.
Loot in The Loft has certain policies and rules governing the listing of items for sale on the buyers pages.
These rules and policies are designed for the safety and benefit of all our members but, more specifically, you as a Seller are responsible for understanding these policies and their references to any applicable laws as per the User Agreement.
Loot in The Lofts' listing policy refers to prohibited items, i.e. what can and cannot be sold on the site.
6. Listing: Misleading Wording
If you are a Seller on Loot in The Loft, you are not allowed to create listings which do not accurately describe your item.
