1. Mailing Lists and Personal Information (Policy)
Items for sale which include lists of names, addresses, phone numbers or other personal information are not allowed to be listed on Loot in The Loft. This policy is in place to protect our members and forms part of our Privacy Policy.
NOTE: If you breach this policy, all of your current listings may be removed from sale and your account cancelled with no refund of listing fees given.
To ensure that your item has the best chance of selling, you will need to manage your listing. This is an important fact of life for anyone involved in the sale of goods as effective sales are made by effective sales people.
You need to keep prospective Buyers interested in your item rather than someone elses and there are a few methods you can employ to aid this.
If you need to change your titles or descriptions, just Sign In, click on the Sell link and you will be taken to the Sellers pages where you can click "Revise My Listing". Your listing will be shown, which you can then edit and upload - overwriting the previous wording or picture.
NOTE: This facility is for editing current items ONLY. You must NOT use this facility to change your listing to an entirely different item. All edits are notified to Loot in The Loft and if we suspect that you are trying to circumvent listing fees for a new item, then ALL of your current items will be removed from sale and your account cancelled with no refund of listing fees given.
We believe that the privacy of our members is of the utmost importance. To this end, we have rules in place governing the use of member contact information.
Loot in The Loft will follow these rules and we expect all our members to do the same.

All Loot in The Loft users need to register to be able to Buy or Sell items on the site. As a part of the registration process, you will create a unique UserID which is the name you will be known by in your listings.
You should choose a name you think represents you and that you will remember but please note this name should be of a format containing letters (a-z) and/or numbers (0-9) only. No other characters are permitted in your UserID and it should be a maximum of 10 letters/numbers.
Also, Email addresses and URL's are not allowed as a UserID and they cannot be the same as another member's UserID.
As Email is a direct member to member communication channel, there is no way for Loot in The Loft to control it.
We would therefore request, that all members respond to Emails received in a timely and courteous manner. Please respect other members, as you would expect them to respect you.
If you do receive an Email that is offensive, or in any other way unwelcomed, you can do one (or all) of a number of things.
NOTE: Loot in The Loft believes that the trust and respect all of our members have for each other is of the utmost importance. To this end, we have this policy in place governing the use of Email as a contact method. If you breach this policy, all of your current listings will be removed from sale and your account cancelled immediately with no refund of listing fees given.
As trading partners need to be able to communicate with each other, the provision of false/omission of contact information is not permitted when registering with Loot in The Loft.
Providing false information encourages criminal activity. Therefore, we would ask any member who believes another member to be in breach of this policy, to please report them to customerservices@lootintheloft.com including their UserID and any other supporting information.

7. Misrepresentation of Identity (Policy)
Misrepresentation of member's identities is NOT allowed on Loot in The Loft. This policy is in place for the protection of all our members and to avoid them and us from becoming the victims of dishonest individuals.
Therefore, we would ask any member who believes another member to be in breach of this policy, to please report them to customerservices@lootintheloft.com including their UserID and any other supporting information.
NOTE: If you are found to have provided false information or misrepresented your identity in any way, all of your current listings will be removed from sale and your account cancelled immediately with no refund of listing fees given.
